Our 18 m² cabins offer plenty of space and level entry and exit. The floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows provide wheelchair users an unparalleled view of the Lake of Constance and the Alps during the 6-minute ride!
A Well-Designed Infrastructure from A to Z
There are five free parking spaces for people with disabilities located at the valley station; these are suitable for minibuses up to 3.40 m in height. An access ramp to the ticket office is also available.
Accessible Pathways and Facilities
The paved and cobblestone paths right next to the mountain station and leading to the Berghaus Pfänder (Lodge) are wheelchair-accessible. Accessible restrooms are located at both the valley and mountain stations. Our seminar room is accessible via an outdoor ramp and is equipped to accommodate wheelchairs.
Honest Information about Restrictions
We provide transparent information: Unfortunately, due to the steep terrain, the loop through the Alpine Wildlife Park is not possible for those with physical limitations. Our traditional partner establishments on the mountain (the inns, Gasthaus Pfänderdohle and Gasthaus Pfänderspitze) are not wheelchair-accessible due to the natural terrain; the Berghaus Pfänder (Lodge) is partially accessible on the ground floor.
